Last updated: June 2026. This policy explains how HarvestIQ Technologies Ltd. collects, uses, and protects your information.
HarvestIQ collects information necessary to deliver agricultural price intelligence and spoilage prediction services. This includes phone numbers for SMS and USSD delivery, crop type and harvest data you provide, location data for market recommendations, and voice recordings when you use our Voice IVR system in Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, or Pidgin.

- To generate AI-powered sell recommendations based on your crop and location data
- To connect you with verified buyers through our Direct Buyer Connection feature
- To improve our price forecasting and spoilage prediction models over time
- To facilitate Field Agent coordination within farming cooperatives
All farmer data is encrypted using AWS KMS and stored in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Voice recordings and produce photographs are stored securely on Amazon S3. Real-time session data is held temporarily in DynamoDB and is not retained beyond the active session window.
HarvestIQ does not sell personal farmer data to third parties. Aggregated and anonymised market intelligence may be shared with agricultural cooperatives, FMCG companies, financial institutions, and government agencies for the purpose of macro-level agricultural planning. This aggregated data does not identify individual farmers.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@harvestiq.africa. You may also opt out of SMS and voice communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each message.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance. We will notify registered farmers of material changes via SMS or USSD notification.
